Chef Daniel Perron brings nearly two decades of experience to his historic downtown Fredericksburg restaurant Locavore. He was most recently Executive Chef at former Capitol Hill power dining spot Charlie Palmer Steak. Shortly after the pandemic, he took the Executive Chef role at Trummer's where he led the restaurant to #4 best in Northern Virginia Magazine. Prior to that, he took his first Executive Chef role at Whaley's where he garnered such accolades as Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand, Top 100 restaurant in Washingtonian Magazine and rave reviews from The Washington Post.

Daniel worked under James Beard Award winning Chef Fabio Trabocchi as sous chef at Fiola Mare, Chef John Melfi at Blue Duck Tavern at The Park Hyatt and Food & Wine best new chef Clay Miller at Trummer's On Main. He is excited to blend his training as a chef with his heritage and partnerships with the best Mid-Atlantic farmers and purveyors.
